,br>SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Sophomore outside hitter Lindsay Weber (Pittsburgh/Fox Chapel H.S.) had 10 kills and 19 digs in a losing cause Saturday afternoon as Slippery Rock University lost a 3-0 decision to visiting Edinboro University in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference-Western Division volleyball action in Morrow Field House.

Senior outside hitter Jen Howser (Grafton, OH/ Elyria HS) added eight kills, while senior middle blocker Andi Whitican (Springboro, OH/Springboro HS) had two blocks.

The loss dropped The Rock to 5-4 overall, 0-2 in PSAC-West action. Edinboro improved to 9-6, 1-1.

The Rock returns to action at 7 p.m. Tuesday when it will host Lock Haven University in a PSAC-West match in Morrow Field House.
